memories
[Tim] Conflated with SchreiberFest 2000 (see below.) Jill was in a back brace due to
broken vertebrae. Tim showed everyone pictures of Germany (having returned earlier that summer
from Fulbright year.) From pictures, everyone looks well-tanned. [Janet] Rick looked so cute and proud
of his son, always wanting to talk about David this, David that! Chloe had beautiful extensions in her
hair, The first year we had the kids make t-shirts (really, the moms did it all!). I remember the “feeding
trough” where we would put out a plate of dry cereal and the young one-year olds would stumble up to
it and grab handfuls to eat. It was the first time out whole family had been together in 2 years, therefore,
we took the first “family photo” we’d had in years. It was quite interesting as we had 5 “babies” that
year! We got like 3 or 4 babysitters so us adults could go out to eat and it was CRAZY having 4 moms
giving directions to 4 babysitters for 6 kids with 3 different bedtimes. Tried to have a cook out outside
on their picnic table, but the bees started to get too aggressive so we had to move inside. [Debbie] We
took a ton of pictures with the whole family-I know I have all of them. Jill helps Debbie determine that
Justice may have a hearing problem.
