Labor Day weekend at Cumberland Falls, Corbin KY

ROLL CALL: 7 were present: Dan & Jill with Chloe (almost 2), Janet & Tom, Debbie & Denny

MAIN ACTIVITIES: Swimming at the beach at Lake Cumberland, hiking, seeing the Falls

 Tim remembers not being invited. [Janet] All the guys taking turns carrying Chloe in her hiking back pack, The guys on the lake “sharing” a little blow up boat (how cozy!), Jill braiding Chloe’s hair, The guys wrestling in the hotel room, (Tom & Denny practically destroying the room), Chloe having breathing problems and needing nebulized, Chloe falling asleep on the floor curled up in a fetal position, Tom playing with someone’s fishing rod in the hotel parking lot, the guys playing basketball in the hotel parking lot.  Tom was playing barefoot with Dan at one point and he slit the bottom of his foot, going out to eat in Corbin at a Chinese Buffet. [Debbie] Debbie was pregnant and got tired easily while hiking. I don’t remember but I’m sure I was whining about it. Chloe was on breathing treatments, Since I was pregnant, Jill showed me the “I’m pregnant and I can’t fit into my clothes but I am too small to wear maternity clothes” trick of using a rubber band to fasten my jeans. Dan and Jill got into a fight in the parking lot about bed sheets. I thought this probably had nothing to do with bed sheets due to the nature of the argument. Jill assured me later the fight had nothing to do with bed sheets. I still don’t know what the fight was about. I don’t remember why Tim was not invited but there probably was a good reason for it.
